Commencement 2027

Commencement Weekend for the Class of 2027 will take place at the Wang Theatre on May 7-8, 2027. More details will be provided as they become available.

Emerson College will hold six ceremonies across the two days in May for graduates of the current academic year. All ceremonies are held at the Wang Theatre, adjacent to Emerson’s Boston campus. For those unable to attend in person, Emerson will provide a link to the livestream of the ceremonies as well as a recording after the events.

Hotels and Lodging

Please see the College’s accommodations webpage for exclusive discounts at hotels near campus. We recommend booking well in advance, as many graduation ceremonies take place throughout the month of May in Boston.

Intent to Graduate

In order to graduate, all students must first complete an Intent to Graduate form. The deadline to complete the Intent to Graduate form varies by graduation term.

Please note that your “intended term of graduation” is when you will finish your degree requirements. If this term changes after you have submitted your Intent to Graduate Form, please submit a new form. Doing so will overwrite the previously submitted form
